Silicone and liquid roofing
Silicone roof coating for flat commercial roofs.
A liquid roof goes over a sound membrane and cures into one seamless layer. Silicone is the coating we use where water sits on the roof.
Where a coating fits
- Flat and low-slope commercial roofs.
- Built-up, modified bitumen, EPDM, metal, and older coatings that are still attached.
- Roofs that pond, where a silicone membrane is the right chemistry.
Questions before you coat
Is silicone the same as acrylic roof coating?
No. Acrylic is a poor choice in standing water. Silicone is made for ponding on low-slope roofs.
How long does a silicone roof coating last?
A prepared commercial silicone system is commonly warranted around 10 to 20 years, depending on thickness and the manufacturer. We do not name a warranty year until the roof is seen.
Do you coat roofs in New York City and the surrounding counties?
Yes. Commercial and municipal buildings in New York City, Long Island, Westchester, the Hudson Valley, and northern New Jersey.
